Boy Passes Away By Consuming Brries

The young boy strolled through a Manchester park, pausing by a yew tree he often enjoyed climbing. Unfortunately, he consumed yew tree berries and leaves, unaware of their toxicity. Subsequently, the teen collapsed later in the day.

During his time there, the teenager ingested yew tree berries and leaves, oblivious to their poisonous nature, as neither he nor his father were aware. Subsequently, Benn collapsed and was urgently transported by ambulance to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Regrettably, he succumbed the next morning to “refractory cardiogenic shock due to taxane alkaloid poisoning” resulting from the ingestion of the berries and leaves.
