Information unveiled subsequent to a crew member’s fatal fall on the set of a Marvel TV series

A man, identified as Juan Carlos Osorio, tragically died after falling while working on the set of Marvel’s TV series Wonder Man. The 41-year-old, employed as a rigger, fell from a catwalk onto a stage at Radford Studio Center near Los Angeles. Marvel Studios expressed condolences and pledged support for the investigation into the accident’s circumstances.

The incident occurred off-camera, although Mr. Osorio was involved in preparations for the show’s production, which is slated to resume post-SAG-AFTRA strikes. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) initiated an investigation into the incident.

In response to the tragedy, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) issued a statement expressing shock and sadness. President Matthew D. Loeb emphasized the organization’s commitment to safety on set and offered support to Osorio’s family and colleagues. They encouraged members to report any safety concerns via the IATSE Safety Hotline or safety info app.
