The UAE has issued an advisory in anticipation of fluctuating weather conditions during the winter season

In response to the changing weather dynamics, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has convened a series of meetings. Earlier this week, an alert was issued cautioning about varying levels of rainfall, lightning, thunder, and the potential for hail in specific regions from Sunday through Tuesday.

The authority has emphasized the implementation of precautionary measures and assured readiness to confront the anticipated temperature decrease. Additionally, the NCEMA has disseminated an advisory.

Residents have been urged to adhere strictly to safety protocols, particularly in locales prone to heavy rainfall. Motorists are advised to exercise utmost caution, steering clear of water channels, flood-prone routes, and aquatic terrains.

To stay abreast of developments, residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels. The NCEMA has stressed the importance of avoiding the spread of rumors and relying on credible sources for accurate information and guidance.

Echoing readiness for the temperature drop, the Ministry of Interior has cautioned the public to exercise vigilance, adhere to safety regulations, and follow prescribed guidelines.

Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah Police have issued reminders to motorists regarding safe driving practices during adverse weather conditions.

They have urged drivers to utilize low-beam headlights to improve visibility and ensure the functionality of windshield wipers. Furthermore, motorists are advised to inspect their vehicle’s brakes after navigating through puddles. Residents are also advised to steer clear of valleys during rainfall.
